Andrew Ebert

Andrew was surrounded by music and the marching arts from a young age. He studied piano and trumpet and spent time at the Interlochen Center for the Fine Arts. His marching experience began with the Milford Marching band from Highland, MI and continued on to the DCI level with the Glassmen and Blue Devils.

Following his age-out season (2004), he joined the staff of the Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps and the Plymouth Canton Education Park Marching Band. He served in the role of visual caption head for both programs. Crown placed in the top 4 in visual each of his years as caption head (2007-2011) and the corps saw an improvement from 8th place to 2nd place in the span of 3 years.

In 2012, he began to expand his role as a designer in the summer activity with the Madison Scouts, Troopers, and the Crossmen. A few highlights include the Troopers 2013 season, which saw the corps go from 18th to 13th, the Madison Scouts 2015 season, where the corps had it’s highest placement in a decade, and the Crossmen with their exciting “Valkirie” program in 2019.

In the marching band world, he has been a part of programs all around the country including state champions, BOA Regional champions, BOA Grand Nationals class champions and medalists, BOA Super Regional Finalists, and BOA Grand National Finalists.

He has also served as a designer in the WGI world including multiple world class finalists in both PIW and PSW. This included helping Plymouth Canton Percussion (PSW) and Redline (PIW) make World class finals in both of their first seasons competing in WGI.

Andrew has a secondary education degree from Western Michigan University and lives in Greenville, SC with his beautiful wife, two children, and two dogs.
